Two-stage drainage solution
â

The two-stage outlet consists of a roof outlet mounted on a vapor barrier and an extension connected to the main waterproofing. Roof outlets must always be fitted as the bottom part. The leaf guard for debris is supplied as standard together with the roof outlet, because in single-stage drainage for non-insulated structures only the roof outlet is installed. Thanks to the identical dimensions of the upper parts of the roof outlets and extensions, the leaf guard is universal and can also be used in an extension. The extension package includes a seal which, when inserted into the groove of the roof outlet neck, creates a watertight connection.

The order of products at the two-stage outlet

The roof outlet is always installed as the bottom part, and the extension is always inserted into the roof outlet. The upper part of the roof outlet has a universal diameter and, by inserting the extension with a seal, a watertight connection is created. In the opposite case, a watertight connection is not achieved.
Thermal insulation height

The TWN extension is applicable from a thermal insulation thickness of 40 mm. For the heated version of the extension, the minimum thickness of the thermal insulation is 100 mm.
Two-stage roof outlet heating

For the heated version of the two-stage drainage system, we recommend heating the first stage â the TW roof outlet â for thermal insulation thicknesses up to 300 mm, as this allows easy routing of the power supply cable. For greater insulation thicknesses, a heated TWN extension is supplied instead.
